I use a 2 amp wall-wart. They say the more current the better they sound. I tried a cheap Ratshack 1.5 amp unit and I do believe the 2 amp sounds more ballsy but who knows.
Electratig has really good reviews of classical music on this site. I bought a couple of his rec's and am very happy; the Shostokovich is now one of my favorite CD's.
