I do plan on the mods you have suggested. As you say, the noise is not much. I have to be real close to the speaker to hear anything, but silence is golden.
How have the other mods, capacitors and tubes, worked out? I am anxious to know what type of difference you experience with these changes. Despite the high quality of components included in the kit, a few well thought out tweaks could take Jr. to an even higher level of resolution. Time will tell...
