I am a little surprized that access to waveguides is an issue. If there are only limited supplies then perhaps offering kits is not the thing to do. On the other hand given the large number of speakers available to compete with and the relatively high price of your offerings, kits might tap another pool of potential sales from a group of people who are not likely to purchase a completely assembled product from you or anyone else. If you limited kit sales to those with assembled crossovers you would probably end up spending considerably less time on the phone and with email holding customer's hands. You would probably make less profit from kits but you already must have some fixed overhead that wouldn't increase much with line of kits. Selah, GR Research, RAW, DIY Cable and many others offer assembled speakers as well as kits. You might have a talk some of those guys to get view on the subject.
By the way, I thought your smaller speaker used an Eminence woofer. How did you end up with a Ciare?
