I am a bit of a novice in the matching radiation pattern between woofer and tweeter. Can you give some suggestions on matching them?
I am using B&C De250 with min X-over at 1.5KHz. Also I am initially using PE cheap 10" spherical horn, min 1.5KHZ cut-off. I will upgrade to better quality horn like the DDS, CFD ENG 1-90 Pro later. Initially I am using active x-over, DCX2496 and if I like the sound I will design the passive x-over.
Any suggestion(s) on the design is welcomed including cabinet damping and construction. The cabinet size is based on MK's worksheet and I can get it flat to 40 HZ according to TS parameter.
If I design the combo correctly I am confident it will be awesome(hopefully my relatively cheap woofer can live up to expectation), dynamic, open and large soundstage for a 2-way because your speaker design concept is awesome as well.
