I have finally got round to making my line arrays (thanks to Jim for all the advice). They consist of 10 Eton 5" and 9 Fountek NeoCD2.0 per side.
After initial fitting of the drivers and wiring, I took some measurements using my Tact 2.2XP - the woofer curves were identical but the tweeter curves were quite different for left and right sides. I rechecked all my wiring and it was fine. After much experimentation and measuring I found the problem to be one of the tweeters being out of phase - this is a manufacturing problem and without measuring I would not have picked this up. After reversing the polarity, the left and right curves are now identical.
I am still running the speakers in and playing with digital crossovers etc so will not yet post impressions or pics.
I would be interested to hear is anyone else has picked up problems with tweeter polarity inversion?
