Happy holidays everyone!

I’m getting ready to start my Studio 2 Pi kit and have a couple of questions. I may be getting anal with these questions, but as this is my first experience building speakers I don’t have a good feel for how much wiggle room there is in the specs.

1) I understand that changing the size of the cabinet is okay as long as the internal volume stays the same. My question is how close is “the same”? Playing around with different sizes that work better for my listening space cabinet volume may be off from the plan by 50 cubic inches. Is this a problem?

2) Are there any minimum cabinet dimensions? The cabinet sizes I was toying with had internal dimensions of 30”h x 10”w x 8,373”d. My concerns are.....

-The distance the insulation would be from the woofer back, and side.
-The port location in relation to the woofer centerline.

3) I have a nice port that I would like to use. It is 2” id versus 1.91” id, if I’m doing my math right, I should increase the length to 2.06” to compensate for the larger diameter. Does this sound right?

Thanks!
