Here's my situation. I'm a software engineer between paying
gigs, so I've got some time but no money. I'd like to pick
a Pi Speaker project and start working on the cabinet - and
get the components later. Going over the archives I have come
up with 2 component options.

1) Eminence Delta 15, Eminence PSD2002
or
2) JBL 2226, Eminence PSD2002

The 2226 is an option assuming I can get a used one at a good
price. I'll decide between bass reflex and folded horn later,
but the smaller Professional 4 is more practical in my house.

Some other background.
My current amps are an HHScott 299B (rated 22wpc) and an
entry level Teac AG-380 receiver. I plan to build a scratch
push-pull EL34 tube amp to mate with the Pi speaker later.
I listen to all kinds of music. My wife is a church organist
and I collect pipe organ CDs and LPs.

What do you think.
What price range can I find a used JBL 2226?
How does the sound quality of the JBL 2226 and Delta 15 compare?
Should I consider other PI speaker?

Thanks. Wayne and this forum are a great inspiration.
