I have noted your two way speaker design as opposed to three way systems. In an earlier thread you mentioned that 1" compression drivers have improved to a point that you now feel comfortable in eliminating the V.H.F. tweeter. Therefore, a 17kHz limit is very acceptable.

Question: Besides the obvious cost savings when eliminating this driver, do you feel that there is an appreciable improved audible difference when you eliminate the V.H.F crossover network and it's associated phase distortion?
