It would be relatively trivial to model the Tuba 36 in Hornresp, and that would give the builder a very clear picture of what to expect using various drivers. Hornresp is extremely accurate in predicting the response of folded basshorns.

Judging from what I've seen at the past couple Prosound Shootouts, I'd say the Tuba 36 response is a lot like the Tuba 24. Both are small horns, like the Cerwin Vega L36. I think the Tuba horns are longer than the Cerwin Vega, but since the overall cabinet dimensions are about the same, the Fitzmaurice flare trades length for area, making the expansion profile more like a pipe. That is shown in the response graphs, which are somewhat peaky but with the potential of a lower cutoff when used in groups.
