floor creak, nasal voice and boomy bass [message #25022]

hi all, my tv/sound room has always been a problem. the bass is boomy and voices are like singing in the shower sound. not as bad as that, but definately something like it. when you walk across the floor you can hear it creak and i think that must buzz some too. is there anything that can be done to fix a room like mine?
