I would like to say that I feel deleting posts should be a remedy of last resort. The obvious offenses such as personal attacks; or misrepresentation of intent for financial gain are inexcusable and should be deleted. Normal discourse as practised by the majority of individuals of adult status sometimes results in some heat. Providing it doesn't conclude in invective or statements of personal challenge it should be allowed to stand.
Censorship stifles dissent and cramps the flow of ideas. I would rather deal with a passionette but strident person than create a climate of mind-numbing politeness.
This is audio Dammitt! not a tea-party!
