Hi, I recently purchased a Sony PS-LX250H (it's my first turntable; it seemed like a good entry point). I was able to get a steal for it, but presumably because it's missing "the metal tray and mat" as the seller said.

Am I a total idiot? Is there any reasonable way to fix this and get the machine to be usable, or am I just SOL?

Thanks in advance.
