A good day today. Good grub bubbling on the stove, and a platter party making everything right. An album I haven't played in years was The Pretenders, Learning To Crawl. Always had a thing for that skanky Chrissie Hynde. Fine song writer and distinctive voice. Some Jazz with venerable sax man Ben Webster blowing Soulville. Then getting down with Jazz from the mother country. Fela Kuti, the Nigerian Afrobeat activist chastising the Nigerian regime in the 70's. Fela Kuti, No Agreement. Ending up with some good old reggae by Joseph Hill and his group Culture. Album called PayDay.
