Hello!

I want to buy a cheap, used turntable for normal home playing, but I have no experience in this area at all. To start, I'd like to know:
1) which drive is better: belt or direct?
2) is tangential tonearm any good?
3) should I choose manual or automatic operation?
4) which brands of turntables and cardridges are good?

I have found some turntables in a good shape (most of them have new styli) and decent price. Which one to choose?
1) Sony PS-333 with SONY VL-37G cartridge, Direct Drive, full automatic
2) TECHNICS SL-DL1 with tangential tonearm (T4P cartridge), DD, full auto
3) ITT 8013 Quartz with Shure M95 cartridge, DD, FA
4) NORMENDE RP-980 with tangential tonearm (Audiotechnica cartridge), DD, FA
5) Pioneer PL 770 Quartz, T4P cartridge, semi-auto, DD
6) PIONEER PL-300 Quartz, original cartridge, semi-auto, DD
7) GENERAL HIFI P-850, original cartridge, semi-auto, DD
8) Technics SL3200 - ORTOFON FF15C MKII cartridge, DD, semi-auto

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
