A person has a sibling who has died about 10 years ago. This person knows the birthday of their sibling and the day the sibling passed away. The cell phone is kept in a dresser drawer as a memento. It has never been turned on, the battery is still in it and it has never been charged in 10 years.
One day while the person was out of the house, on the siblings birthday.......that phone rang. It went unnoticed because no one was home. But on the anniversary of the day the sibling died, the person was in the bedroom and heard the phone ring. The person dug it out from under her clothes and was shocked to see and hear that phone ringing. She pushed the answer button and got very loud static. Shaking, she turned it off and saw "1 missed call" on the main screen.
