I wonder at what point that stops happening?

Sold my fancy CD player (CDs are deader than Disco!) and a bunch of other dust catchers on EBay and bought this JMW9T Arm. Big upgrade!

The armboard was too thick for the platter so I made another with 1/4" of Aluminum sandwiched between an .080 layer of EAR SD-40 and some cherry veneer. Another big upgrade! Way better than acrylic or wood.

Ever try to drill a big hole in 1/4" aluminum with a Forstner bit?
