The CCS are LM317HV ICs. They are quite durable and great for this. I also use them in all the class A push-pull amps. You can even parallel them if needed as I do in the KT120 amps. I initially figured that they would need something equivalent to "emitter" resistors to balance them, not so. They behave just fine if they are from the same production run.
