HI, Since then I built my own TT from a aging Dual 701. The plinth is laminated wood pieces somewhat like what you would see in a table top. It is 1.25 inches thick and mounts on sorbanthe vibration dampers with the outer plinth mounted on equipment dampers with height adjusting screws. It all weighs about 30 pounds. The arm is a Jelco 370H and it currently has a Hana EL cartridge in it. The power supply that feeds the motor assembly (an ESD 1000 series) is external. Very quiet and stable. The ESD1000 has been re-capped as one of the original ones (from 1975) failed and I decided to replace all suspect ones. This is my main go to turntable as it is so consistent and easy to use. My others in use now are a modified Empire 598 and a modified Sota Moonbeam.
