Heck then go with QSC. I never had a Crown fail me, I've thermaled the the old D and DC series outdoors in the summer before, but not what I run nowdays. But every amp has a certain sound.
On subs I could usally can tell if your running a Crest, Crown, QSC, Carver which suck, or in old dance clubs the old BGW's beside the top 3 mentioned.
