I personally am a dedicated QSC guy. I've had Peavey and Crown fail, but never QSC. Dozens of times, I've ran them cranked to the hilt, outdoors, all day long, on the hottest days of summer, with never so much as a whimper. They're also more open and transparent sounding than Peavey's CS series amps, which to my ears sound muddy, veiled, and "closed-in."

I've heard lots of Carvin power amps and they sound great, with similar transparency and clarity to QSC and Crown. But, while they are claimed to be extremely robust and dependable, I've heard mixed feedback about their reliability.
