You know it is interesting that many of our fellow citizens really don't have a clear idea of exactly what form of government we have and how this form is realised.
Allow me to offer the dictionary definition of a Republic,(our form of govt.)
"A Republic is a state or country that is lead by people who do not base their political power on any principal beyond the control"By The People" of that state or country."
Yes it is humbling to know we as a nation control our own destiny as principals of our government. In the final analysis if we control the govt; we are the govt.
Just thought I'd point that out since the Fourth of July is coming up in a few weeks.
