try R/C car racing. I've been thinking of getting back into it for a year or so. I was at a neighborhood garage sale yesterday, and one of the neighbors a $200 car sitting there. She said her son thought it was broken - nope. Thing runs like a champ. It does, however, need new batteries ($50 a stick), an updates speed controller ($50), a hotter motor ($50), bearings for wheels and tranny ($50).......I think you get the picture now. My son and I took it out in the cul-de-sac today and ran through 5 very old battery packs. Priceless. Now to get my gas nitro truck up and running. Also have an electric V-hull boat (3 feet long or so) that uses 2 battery packs and 3 motors, and it will do about 30 mph when properly trimmed out. Throws a tail like nobody's business. Don't ask what happens when the juice runs out
