Looking at your floor plan, I think constant directivity cornerhorns would work fine. The things you need most are unobstructed wall space from the apex of the corner and distance between corners that allows the axes to cross in front of the listening p...

Speakers in corners don't need flanking subs, but they do still benefit from more distant distributed subs. I don't think I'd put a sub immediately below the corner speakers, because then you would have two bass sound sources in the corners, which is a ...

As you know, the response of the three π loudspeaker is very smooth and distortion is low. But so is the six π cornerhorn, and it has the advantage of true constant directivity, with reflection-free wavefront propogation. That's a real big deal.

π Cornerhorns are definitely the bees knees but you want to install them flush with the corners rather than sunk into the wall.

Thanks, that is certainly helpful... What about putting the 6Pi's into a soffit design? The idea of having a 3-way full range system is also one I am kicking around. Would this even be possible?
