Hy Wayne ...a lot of speakers designers say that reconfig the box outer measurement dont afect the sound if keep the same box volume . what could happen if the thermionic three could be taller ever keeping you target interior volume and port size. thanks

That's been done and it's a pretty successful mod. Keep the distance between tweeter and midwoofer the same and it will be fine. Also, don't make the box too tall and thin or it will act as a transmission line. That's OK if you design with the understanding that standing waves will develop and position things accordingly, but if you don't know to do that, you may end up with one note bass or a dip in the bass somewhere.
