Hy Wayne ...what do you think about the eminence ASD 1001 tweeter I look in the eminence website and it give 104 db @ 20 Kz , versus the PSD 2002 onle give 85 DB @ 20kz . Could use the ASD 1001 in your design to me it look more a Hi-Fi driver .But yur oppinion count a lot . Thanks

The ASD1001 is not a suitable replacement. It is a pretty good device, but cannot be used as a substitute for the tweeters in any of my designs.

It has the wrong characteristcs, wrong frequency range, etc. It doesn't go low enough for the systems that use the PSD2002 and doesn't have the quality response up high to encourage me to use it in place of the DX25.
