i would like to tune a 4 cu ft box for the alpha 10" to 35 Hz, can anyone tell me the L & W of the port, i would prefer a rectangle port. i can't do the Calculation

You can use a 4" diameter, 3½" long. There's a formula and simple program to calculate the Helmholtz frequency in the post called "Two Pi with off-sized speaker box."

hi wayne, i intend to use the alpha 10" with a oris horn ( coral beta 6 fullrange driver ) do you have any suggestion on how to cross them?

If I remember, the Oris horn can be used down to around 250Hz. If you crossover there, wavelegth is about 4½ feet long. I'd probably use a simple first-order filter, just a 6.0mH coil in series with the woofer. You can expect summing to be good if the woofer is placed directly underneath the Oris horn.

A two π tower is a little larger and tuned a little higher, but not much.

I was going to suggest the Delta12LF that's used in the Theatre-3 and use that alignment. I found it to have tighter bass than the Alpha10 and allows for a smaller cabinet. However, the Alpha-10 is a much better choice if you're using a set of 2A3 amps. The "looseness" I found with the Alpha-10, when compared with the Delta12LF, may actually work in your favour when used with such a low-powered amp.

A set of Wayne's corner horns would work well in your case too. However, already having the driver in hand is a pretty good reason.
