Willem Dafoe tour-de-force. 1999 - DVD 2002.

If you're a fan of dark humor and twisted perspective, this is YOUR movie.

We rented it, and then immediately ordered it on Amazon.

Two weeks later it's at Walmart for 40% less.

Hi Charlie,

I'll be sure to look for Boondock Saints at Wal-Mart this weekend.

I've seen a lot of movies this summer and enjoyed a lot of them but not enough to really write anything here. How 'bout you? Other than Boondock Saints that is.

Nothing memorable. We rarely go to the movies (I go with the kids, my wife won't go) so most everything I see is a rental.

I do want to the the Manchurian Candidate (Denzel is the man) and the Bourne sequel ought to be worth seeing.

There just aren't many films made for adults, though I guess there are plenty of adult films ;>

Hi Charlie,

I want to see the Manchurian Candidate the Bourne Supremacy too. And I'm really anxious to see Exorcist, the Beginning.

A bunch of us like going to movies every week. Alona and I and a group of six other friends went out and saw the Stepford Wives this evening. Slow going, but fun. We saw Hellboy a week or two ago and it was pretty cool. I'm anxious to see Spiderman II also.

Sometimes we wait for a while and see movies at the cheapie theaters, especially those films we don't feel we "just have to see." That way if a movie isn't any good, we can have fun heckling it. Most times, we just enjoy each other's company but sometimes the movie is good. Once in a while there's a great movie, and then we buy it on DVD when it comes out in the stores later.
