The Professional series seven π cabinet would work very well with the JBL 2204, but I think I'd probably run it as a three-way speaker like the 2205 version of the seven π. A pair of JBL 2105 midranges is what I used in that model, but you could also use a single 2123 or 2012 like in the Audiophile Series seven π speaker.
