Hello Wayne and Posse: I'm trying to choose the next upgrade to my system. I'm currently using Dayton 295-070 15" woofers in pi-aligned cabinets under Edgarhorn midrange horns and Fostex tweeters. The speaker system is bi-amped. What, if any, improvement could I expect if I change to Eminence woofers (perhaps the Omega 15's) or to JBL's? Any other woofer suggestions are also welcome. Thanks.

Honestly, I'm not familiar with the Dayton woofer you're running, so I obviously can't comment on a comparison. But I will say the Omega 15 is an excellent part, and the comparible JBL's (2205/2225/2226/2227) are absolutely wonderful. Lowest distortion family of midwoofer's I've ever heard.
