Need to replace old Gauss 18 inch subs. Have in a front loaded
short folded horn that a friend built from some long forgotten plans.
They work great from 50 to 100 hz. Will any of the Eminence 18 inch subs do the job or what would the forum members recommend. What about
B&C or Beyma? Any experience?
P.S. Where can one get Gauss speakers reconed?

What are the properties of the cabinet? How long is the horn, and how much throat and mouth area does it have? How big are the front and rear chambers? These are really pretty important characteristics to know when choosing your woofer.
