I am considering building a pair of 2π towers this summer, and want to start scrounging up some wood. I managed to procure some 3/4" plywood the other night. I assume that would work fine?

3/4" plywood will work very well. I like to use particle board for small enclosures and plywood for larger ones that would be too heavy made from MDF.
