Wayne...I think I might have messed up....are the 4Pi pro crossovers the same for the for the Eminence PSD2002 and the JBL 2426?
I love the sound of the 4Pi's at low to medium but when you open it up the top end almost rips your ears off! Even with some material played at 80-90 db the top end ...pianos and female vocal in particular really get in your face. I know there are bunch of things I need to try still like room placement, but I was hoping you help me out by taking one possibility out of the equation. Did I use the wrong Schematic for 4Pi's using the 2226 and PSD2002? I used the 1k6a014db schematic.

A four π Pro with a 2226 uses a 1K6aL12dB, whether the tweeter is a PSD2002 or a JBL 2426. The 14dB tweeter cable assembly should sound pretty good too, certainly not overly emphasized in the treble.

Maybe you will double-check your crossover? Be sure you've got the resistances in series and parallel between the crossover and the tweeter connected properly. Also check the bypass resistor in the compensation circuit and let us know what you find.
