I received my Thermionic 3pi kits last night and began final assembly into the cabinets. I have to say that the quality of parts that Wayne has supplied is outstanding. Easy to work with, great build quality.

I have one quick question before I get too far.. I notice there isn't any gasket tape. Should I get some for under the horn and under the woofer?

Thanks!
Steve

None of my speakers have ever used sealing around horn lenses or woofer flanges, and I've never had problems with leaks.

It wouldn't be prudent.... [message #36385 is a reply to message #36381] Fri, 10 May 2002 09:27 Go to previous message

not to use a sealer like 'Frost King' finger tip caulk. a.k.a. Mortite. Available at Depot, Lowes, Tru-Valu, etc.
It couldn't hurt.
