Wayne,

Couldn't help myself and bought a 2445/2380 combination to use over my Kilomax 15". I was considering buying a pair of JBL 2405s to use on top and forgo the compensation. What kind of crossover do you recommend for integrating a 2405 with the 2445/2380?

Sensitivity is about 5db less for the 2405. My thoughts were to use a passive/active crossover system. I'd use two amps.... a couple big SS amps to drive the Kilomax with a 24db/octave point at the 800HZ point and a rumble filter built into the active system. I'd also have a active high-pass 800HZ point with 24db octave slope for the 2445s with a passive crossover for the 2445-2405 crossover. The amp used on the top end would be a 300B SET with 8 watts. My uncertainty is the best passive crossover to use with the 2405.

Thanks for all your advice.

I would crossover to the 2405 around 5kHz.
