Hi, wayne

Do i need a compensation network together with the Theater 4 Pi with a kappa lf and a psd2002?

You recommended the 1k6a filter to me wich should be for the 4pi with delta lf 12", but wich steepness must it have 10dB or 12dB.

Could you tell me how to build the compensation network?

You people are talking about gauge thickness of cable, could you tell me what thickness to use in metric?

The Theater four π Speaker uses a Delta 15A, not a Kappa 15LF. And - Yes - The appropriate crossover containing top octave compensation is required. You will need to also calculate cabinet dimensions, as we discussed in your earlier thread

I think people would be interested. I've just been telling people to run PiAlign and build according to the dimensions given. But there have been a lot of posts about the Kappa's, so I think they are pretty popular.

Is this an issue? I can't decide between the delta15 and the kappa15lfa.(smooth midrange larger box/ or /better low end extention and smaller box) If the kappa15lfa could sound smooth in the mids it will be my choice but not at the expence of a realistic mid/vocal range.
Any thoughts
