I'm new at this and would like to build a center channel for my home theatre using a JBL 2225J with 2426J mounted on a 2344 horn.

Unfortunately I have no idea what enclosure dimensions/port size/length or X-over should be.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

The good thing is I can build cabinets w/ little effort and know a little about electronics, but not in this discipline.

I look forward to any and all replies.

Sincerely,

John Gray

Build some four π loudspeakers! [message #34274 is a reply to message #34273] Wed, 28 November 2001 00:13 Go to previous message

I would suggest a pair of four π loudspeakers, based on your JBL 2225's. I used to build four π speakers with 2205's and 2225's before the 2226's were introduced. I really like these older drivers, to tell the truth.
