I really like the looks of the VA340 integrated SET amp you reviewed this month. It's cool looking to me, sort of post-modern. Kinda has a Harley-Davidson look. Looks like you like it's sound too. I'd like to hear that one for sure!
By the way, I agree with you about piano. It's one of the most difficult instruments to reproduce, partly because of its range and partly because its purity of tone. Not as many harmonics to mask anomalies. If something in the chain introduces distortion, you really hear it in the piano!
