Hi Folks, Wayne,

The web page I did for Wayne is a gift for all the time he
puts into this group and helping other out. I've been mentioned
in one other thread about attenuation also.

I'm working on a pair of Four-Pi's using Eminence Kappa 15's,
Altec 811 horns/806A drivers, and EV TW-35 tweeters. I'll
post pictures once I get both built and have a cabinet for
the horns. There's now way both of those would fit in the
box. I'm going to build a seperate box that goes on top.

Chris

Very cool web page, thanks for doing it!

Here's a link to other people using Altec components and/or horns in Pi Speakers:

How do you incorporate the 511s into the four Pis plans, does the crossover and enclosure stay the same, can I do this with my four Pis?

The horns are very different because the radiation pattern isn't the same. Altec 511's are able to load the driver lower and they have collapsing directivity which tends to provide more acoustic EQ. I would probably use a little less top-octave compensation with them.
