Hey-Hey!!!,
this is what I specified, and Phil quoted. ~100 mA capacity from the HV. 400-325-250-0-250-325-400 mulit-tap HV. For this project we're planning on using the 250-0-250 in full wave recitfication with a choke input filter. I expect it to easily meet the 100 mA specification with even a cap input filter, the L-C will make things even easier( and quieter ).

3A each of 5V and 6.3V. This will allow the use of almost any rectifier valve. Twin damper diodes, or single 7-pin 6X4 and a lot in between. You could even use a type 83 Hg vapour if you put a 250vac rated switch between CT and ground. Engage it after about a numute to allow the Hg to properly vpaourize. it takes a 4-pin socket like a 2A3...and it doesn't glow so well. Carefully matched 816's would be an option. Might be a good idea to get both of the heater windigs CT instead of just the 6.3 as is currently specified in case series connection of Hg vapour valves is desired.
regards,
Douglas
