Hi oil finish experts,

been reading linseed / tung oil posts...I have difficulties sourcing the tung-oil where I live. Linseed available I would think.

How about the oil you can get for decking (porch / terrace) made out of bankerei? I have the decking and some leftover oil, will try this on a piece of scrap oak...the content not declared to hard to know what it contains and does to oak.

Ideas welcome. The finish is for a solid oak pi stage 4 cabinet project.

A great forum this is, the 'routing of irregular shapes-post' helped a lot...tested it this weekend.

Thanks,

Roland
