There is an article in Soundpractices that describes in detail the exact construction of an O-Clone including top plate templates and wiring route photo's. However they do say that without using the silver wound transformers it sounds like just another SE amp. Trying the piece using standard trans left the guy less than impressed. Those trans are pretty expensive; about 2500$ for the pair of OPT's I believe.

A pair of DS-025's and the PGP 8.1 and BCP 16's will git'r done for about $700. Then PIO caps, Blackgates, etc, etc.
Something jewel-like for the chassis. About $1500 I think.
