Most compression drivers diaphragms are made of metal (aluminum, titanium or beryllium) but some are phenolic. That's cloth or paper impregnated with epoxy. I've noticed a lot of quality variation in phenolics. Some sound good but others aren't even decent. Does anyone make a paper diaphragm or maybe one of fabric or silk like a dome tweeter? Ceramic? Plastic?

Curious -

Crystal,

10 years ago you couldn't find a decent phenolic tweeter but today I'd say the best ones are phenolics.
