What is the latest news on the MAG12 subwoofer? Haven't heard anything in a while. How much longer do you think it will be? Dano

Looks like 3rd quarter 2004, maybe 4th. Eminence tested the first prototype and found it reduced harmonics greater than -10dB above 150Hz, but not as much improvement down low. So they're building a second prototype with a larger flux control ring in order to reduce 2HD at lower frequencies.

By the way, we've decided to call it a "B12." Eminence already makes a "Magnum 12" and a "LAB12," so they were concerned that the names "MAG12" or "LAB12 ST" might be confused with their existing products. So "B12" was chosen instead, referencing its size and a play on the common term for the cobalamin vitamin that gives strength.
