I'm not sure about Yamahas rev?? series, but it was the Yamaha SPX90's they used for reverbs as a standard in the industry and there still used today, and available for decent price. Another one is the Roland SDE-3000(1970's vintage) which is a mono unit, and the old Eventide Clockworks 910(1970's vintage).

And the all time classic Lexicon 480's(1980's+ vintage),which are still used today. Also Lexicon's PCM series, all of which are all high $$$$ now days.(They've gone up in value over the years).

Now days it's usually the TC Electronic M-ONE, and D-2 effects units, which are a whole lot less money than the Lexicon units mentioned above.

I have an M-ONE in my home recording rack. It's not terribly expensive and reverb sounds okay for the price.

Only thing is, after a couple of years of use, my M-ONE's power supply seems to have gone south. Now, when I power it up it comes up with garbled display that looks like a Klingon script. I'm too lazy to open it up to see what's wrong.

TC Electronics are the best for the price.
Lexicon 480's are still in every studio worth its weight.
