I have two Ashdown FA60 Tube Guitar Amp Heads and want to slave them together. I've always understood and read that typically you plug the guitar into the 1st amp head (master) and then run a cable out of either the "line out" or the "effects send" on the 1st amp into the "effects return" on the 2nd amp head (slave)...then run the speaker cab off the 2nd amp head. When I do that process with these heads I get a really cool sound but no real volume. The volume is like a low practice volume in your bedroom, lol. I would appreciate someone giving me some advice on how to do this most efficiently. I do not typically run any footpedals...so I'm dealing with just the two amp heads...this should be easy right????
