I have recently come into an Ampeg Vt 22 head in very bad shape. It is the magnavox era with 7027 tube which are hard to find. should i even worry about fixing this up. Or should I not waste my money. If i should what tube would anyone suggest for this particular monster. Thanks

No problem getting those. It's a 6L6-GC. Lots of people get confused because there *are* some tubes in the 6L6 family that *won't* work. The 6L6-GC is the one you want.

Sovtek is currently manufacturing the 7027. How good it is, I don't know.
