I have a few amps with four inputs (Fender Bassman 10, Marshall JMP 50w, etc..). I regularly jump the channels, but today I was messing around with my Bassman 10 and a H&K Rotosphere (that can be used with stereo outputs). IMO the Rotoshpere sounds best in stereo, so today I ran one of the stereo outs into each channel at the same time. Its not quite the same as running it it true stereo, but I did think the tone was improved. Is there a danger in running the amp like this with essentially two inputs going into the amp at the same time? I don't completely understand how "jumping" works, but is this much different? Thanks!
