Hi there!

I am completely new to the forum but would greatly appreciate some help regarding my amplifier.

Im a little worried as I have not seen any posts so far about the problem that I have with my amp. I'am completely new to the tube amp world so I'm hoping that this is easily fixed!

I've just replaced the preamp valves with a set of Electro-Harmonix 12ax7's. But now I'm not getting any sound from the amp. All the valves are glowing nicely, the speaker is connected and definitly still works, the channels switch ok, but just no sound.

Does anybody know what the problem might be?

I wish I hadnt touched it now, it was working fine before I replaced the valves!

Thanks.

Does it work if you put the old tubes back in?

Have you checked any of these tubes with a tester?

Get a tube tester from eBay. Make sure it works and has all the charts. They don't cost a lot and you'll probably be really glad you got it.
