I figured these speakers to be exotic as there is'nt too many 27 inch woofers available. And, well their pert near mighty big in size.

Those actually look like really great speakers. I would assume the bass cabinets are somewhat overdamped to conjugate room gain, and if so, the alignment required would probably make those 27" monsters get downright infrasonic.

Oh, look at those little 27" woofers. Personally, I'd prefer 63" woofers by Diatone (Mitsubishi) myself or a the very least the comparatively compact 31.5" woofers (again).

Actually, as for those Opals, I wonder how good the bass really is. Sure, there's no replacement for displacement, but it appears that most large woofers made today are designed for efficiency in PA systems and sacrifice extension that would be desired in home audio settings. Sure, those 27" woofers look impressive, but what's the point if a few quality 12"s provide lower distortion and deeper extension?
