Does anyone have any feedback on old coral speakers ---like the BX series---I saw some on e-bay and (forgot about them and they got away) that were 3-ways and 100db rated!---now I am wondering which cabines/models to shop for ---looking for those neat looking FRD models ---but all i have seen so far are 2 or 3 ways ....very interesting! I just got a pair of Coral bx multi 1000's off ebay. Want to run them with my Sherwood 5000 II, haven't received them yet. Have you heard the 1000's? How would you describe your pair's sound? Thanks. This was the ad for the speaker's I bought.. Coral Audio Corporation BX - Multi 1000 3 - way 4 - Speaker System Vintage The speakers are 50 Watts, 8 Ohms impedance, 35 - 25.000 frequency response. Woofer - 10” 35 - 2.5Hz Midler - 6 ½” 800 - 9Hz Tweeter - Super tweeters x 2 7K - 25Hz (4 speakers - 3 way) Each speaker can turned off and on. The level control can turn mid-range and high- range.
